Car Rental- 2 people

Dunster
Hi all, I will be renting a campervan in Iceland between 11-17 September and I am delighted to learn that this is considered to be off season so the cost will be less. Whilst my travel partner has had their licence for many years now, my licence is less than a year old. Does this mean that only she will be allowed to drive it? Is this a legal clause when renting the vehicle? Could I run into trouble with the law if I drive the vehicle? We are both 28 so age is not an issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Dunster,

Thank you for participating.

I think your license should be, at least, one year old for renting any kind of vehicle in Iceland.
Anyways talk to this company that I know are more flexible.

Best regards,
